Meet Mystique!
Mystique is a beautiful Golden Retriever from our purpose-bred Rolls Royce litter, born and raised by us from the very beginning specifically with service work in mind.
Our purpose-bred puppies are raised with a strong focus on early development, socialization, confidence, and temperament. From a young age, they are introduced to different people, children, dogs, sounds, surfaces, environments, handling, grooming, crates, car rides, and new experiences.
As they grow, we gradually introduce structured obedience, handler engagement, public access, and the foundations for service dog task work.
Mystique has absolutely flourished through this process and has developed into a phenomenal young service dog in training.
Training & Skills
Mystique has a wonderful foundation and knows her basic obedience very well, including:
Sit
Down
Stay
Heel
Front / Recall
Side
Under
Seated commands
She has also progressed beautifully with her service dog task work, including:
Deep Pressure Therapy (DPT)
Look / Watch Your Six
Blocking
Mystique has already completed multiple hours of public access training in a variety of environments.
One of her greatest strengths is her confidence. When she encounters something unfamiliar, she is easy to work through it with, recovers nicely, and gets right back to focusing on her handler.
Temperament & Personality
Mystique truly has so many of the qualities we look for in a service dog prospect. She is confident, loving, eager to learn, and extremely trainable.
She is both treat and toy motivated, which makes her incredibly fun and easy to work with. She enjoys training and has a natural willingness to engage with her handler.
Mystique is also wonderful with other dogs, cats, adults, and children. She has a sweet, well-rounded personality and adapts beautifully to different situations.
Why Mystique?
Mystique is a phenomenal service dog in training with an incredible upbringing and a strong foundation already behind her.
She has the confidence to navigate public environments, the motivation and eagerness to learn, and the temperament needed to work closely alongside her person. When something does challenge her, she is able to work through it, recover, and continue, which is such an important quality in service work.
She is sweet, intelligent, adaptable, highly trainable, and genuinely enjoys working. Mystique has a very bright future ahead of her, and we are incredibly excited to see her continue developing with her future handler. 💜
